Random actitivites this past week!

Brought my friends to this new-found cafe i've found which i find it quite relaxing and quiet. The bosses there are super friendly and now, we are like good friends when we visit them! Super good service to me. Nothing beats a friendly attitude in the f&b industry!

Reflections

Hmm. what to order.. so many fabulous dishes! Especially, my favourite seafood dishes!

Self-brewed luo han guo drink! A little bitter for me.

This is their appetizer! One of the best pork belly i have tasted! Crunchy with just the right amount of fat. Does not taste over oily! Yummm.

Lots of effort for their soup and you can taste from the first sip. Not always available thou, we always reserve one when we call to make reservations! This soup is their signature dish!

Mega prawn! I could taste the freshness of the prawn as the sauce was light and fragrant.

Vegetable was pretty plain to me this time round but Daddy kept saying i should eat more vegetable for better skin. So i did :P

Lobster Sashimi! The head was then taken to cook lobster porridge and it was superb man! (Until i was busy eating, forgotten to take a picture of it)

Dessert is a must! Their seasonal durian pudding. Finally it's available, they only serve when the durian is super tasty. Normally i would order the sesame tangyuan with peanut coating you see below, i guessed it has already become a must-eat so i ordered one :P

Happy Birthday Doreen!

Happy Birthday Doreen! May all your dreams come true. Simple celebration due to our busy schedules but we enjoyed it nevertheless. Birthday girl wanted to watch the movie - The Dictator, so off we go!(Sad thing was, i was late for the movie due to my silly GPS. Argh)

thank you and goodbye.

All the way from USA (hand-carry)! Thank youuuuu. Guess I'll be getting more Aldo shoes in future, simple and elegant.

My kitten has been adopted. Been taking care of her round the clock, like a little baby. Feeding her milk every 3-4 hours as she was just probably a few days to one week old when i found her. The bond really made me attached to her, could not explain in detail but perhaps like a replacement mother. However, it's the best arrangement for her to find owners that can shower their love on her and giving her the best of care for the rest of her life.

Okay, i know. I sound so exaggerating emotional but i am really happy that she managed to find a new home because i cannot adopt her due to my family member being afraid of cats (plus i have a dog at home). Life has too many things not within our control so as long as we did our best, the moment of sadness will eventually go away and the rest that remains are just memories to be kept. Her new owners named her Mickey! Thanks for all those who helped in seeking a new home for her and those who sincerely wanted to adopt her! <3

I got to praise my dog as well! She did not disturb her even thou she smelled her and probably know it's a cat (she does bark at the stray cats outside). Good girl gigi!

Feasting day!

Time to feast! Have never felt so full in a long time but it was fulfilling. Tonkichi was strongly recommended by my bestie that i have to try it. So here comes.

Have a look at the menu! Yes, majority are fried dishes which is what Tonkichi is famous for.

The prawn are really crunchy and taste yummy with the mayo! Great for side dish selection!

Special type of pork known as the black pork which is more tender than the normal pork fillet/pork lion.

I had the seafood and pork set! The lettuce comes with a refreshing salad sauce. The rice and lettuce is refillable! For rice and salad lovers, this is the place you would probably love.
