Daddy touch-down dinner!

Takumi Tokyo Robata & Teppanyaki at Keppel Bay! Arranged for dinner with parents as my Dad just touched-down back home!

Authentic japanese restaurants always have interiors that makes customers so comfortable and relaxed.

Appetizers

This mushroom salad is refreshing and has a unique taste. Pretty good for starters.

Sashimi! I got to praise the freshness of their sashimi. I super duper love the prawns, it has the freshness together with the sweetness. Reminds me of the mega prawn sashimi i tasted in Osaka.

Daddy loves to order tofu. Hahas.

Black pork!

Does the picture says it all? SUPERB man the garlic rice! hahas. So full of flavours and the quality of the rice is premium.

Tempura. We usually do not miss this dish when we are having japanese cuisine aye?

Mommy loves cold noodles so definitely cannot miss this out!

Sashimi was fresh hence, Daddy ordered another plate but in sushi form. Yummmm.

Summary! :P
Cant wait to visit Takumi? Here's the details.

Something missing? Dessert of course! Headed to Mount Faber for some tea, coffee and dessert. I have fallen in love with creme brulee! Gonna be there often these days. Teehee.

Faber Bistro
Located: Upper terrace of Mount Faber

So much food, making me feel guilty already. Time to do some workout at the gym to make up for it.

Happy Birthday Weiping!

Happy Birthday Weiping!

We went to timbre substation to celebrate Weiping's birthday. Needless to say, all craving for their pizza! Especially our all time favourite - Duck Pizza :D

Seafood Pizza~

Half-half pizza!

Not forgetting, happy hour drinks!

Some side-dishes as well...

Pork Belly, not so delicious for me.

Nachos

And lastly, some wings!

We had a nice time catching-up while eating great food with great pals.

Loving aye? Hehe

All the best in everything Weiping does! It's great how we never fail to remember and celebrate one another's birthday :)

Super long update!

Falling in love with the convenience of instagram, hence the lack of updates. Spending lots of time by the sea and feasting! Gain some pounds definitely but it was all worth it for my taste buds! I'm gonna update in a random sequence so stay tuned for many good recommendations for restaurants :)

First up - Just Acia

My childhood friends recommended me what they always have for an economical meal and yet taste pretty nice. Their speciality is the spicy korean bbq chicken but i just could not resist soft shell crab as my selection! The soft shell crab was crispy and taste pretty alright! However, the rice was a little too soft and all squashed up. Perhaps not enough time to cook it? It was extremely crowded there! Many were attracted by the free flow of ice cream and drinks there but i was too full to enjoy the previledge. This cost just $7 to $9? Way too long ago, i forgotten the exact cost.

Next up, my favourite beef teriyaki Izakaya Nijumaru. I know i know, this beef teriyaki dish has been recommended several times already (you can tell how much i love it!). This time round i tried their sesame ice cream and the balance of the ice cream is superb! The texture of the ice cream was good and the sweetness level was just right. So do try this dessert when you happen to pop by this restaurant.

This mega prawn noodle was cooked by my mom! Doesn't it look delicious? Can't get it any where else eh? Hahas.

Continuing with my foody journey, it's the ocean spoon! Always can have a pleasant meal with a relaxing scenery aye?

Honestly, this ox-tail soup does not taste good! Only the garlic bread was delicious. Too mild and tasteless.

Mushroom soup was pretty delicious for me.

Fish and chips was so-so, the flour used to cover the fish up was too thick.

Steak was pretty good and the side dishes were marinated well so i finished up everything on the plate!

They do not only serve western food, there are many more choices like local food, pasta and many more varieties.

This ocean spoon outlet is located at Keppel Club.
Address: Bukit Chermin Road Singapore 109918 (By the poolside)

Okay, i know this is random but i am so happy that my good friend got a B with my almost rusty turtoring! Well done Chingwai <3

Invited my pals over to have a good jacuzzi dip, barbeque and champaign. This is the life at sea, so relaxing. I could mia for days away from land.

Getting ready...

What's on the menu?

And the tools...

AND... there was a heavy downpour! I had to cook those dishes in the kitchen instead. There goes barbeque. There are more photos to be upload when my bestie sends them to me. Stay tune!

Ba Kut Teh! I have been following my dad to this stall for almost 10 - 15 years i think! This stall is less crowded as majority of the people prefers the stall with the black soup on the upper side of the street. Do not know why, i still feel that this stall never makes me sick of it.

This stall is located at Balestier Road, at a kopitiam named Kai Juan (if i did not remember wrongly) and it is beside Boon Tong Kee.

I bet everyone recognises this is from Ikea. I got to give praise for the prawns, absolutely delicious! Fish and chips was not as good thou. Opps.

My little fury friend that often pops by the boat. She has character similar to a dog, so loving. Often meows at the door to let me know she is here and follows you around!

Want to see another cutie back at home? She can balance on her tummy! Ain't she grumpy? Hahas.

Looks pretty appetizing isn't it? One of my heavy supper at Changi's Supper Club. Opposite the Changi Village hawker. The sauce was too peppery spicy for me, to those who do not take spicy food please think twice.

Steamboat at sea! Yumm, not-so-spicy tom yam done up by me! Simple yet filled with warmth. It nice to have small gathering dinner together.

This reminds me of my pals, we used to always meet up just to eat Astons. Economical and delicious! Especially the sauce and the french fries, my love. Those who have not tried this, please do! they have outlets all over Singapore. Mostly located in coffee shops and high-end outlets are available in malls.
Find the outlet nearest to you! http://www.astons.com.sg/index.html

Authentic Hock Lam Street Popular Beef Kway Teow. Used to always have this for lunch with my buddies when i was working and i had cravings of the beef noodles ever since.

Gardens by the bay.

Captured pieces of Singapore flyer, MBS and Gardens by the bay. Beautiful isnt it?

The lightings and the sound effects were pretty stunning. Worth to take a look and entrance is free except for certain walks.

All of my pals have been waiting for the Royce Banana flavour chocolate to be out! It is a seasonal product hence it is only sold once a year. One of the best flavours i have tasted! Do try it out peeps!

Lucky me, my bestie JJ got it for me! <3

I discovered these egg tarts when i went to Expo for some events. Delicious man! Do try it if you happen to be there yea?

Random dinner at Crystal Jade.

So sinful yet cannot resist! Yummy.

My favourite yee-fu noodles! No place does it better than crystal jade on this dish!

Another Ba Kut Teh choice for bkt lovers! This is from Yong Ba Kut Teh! Their meat is tender and not dry. Soup taste fantastic as well. I had it on a rainy and it was superb.

Next up.. Hong Kong food! Very appetizing. They sell them in a set, with soup and dessert as well! All these for around $6? Super worth it right?
